I have owned (or still own) all of above razors. Karve with D, E, F plates, a few different Timeless in both SS and titanium and Blackbird SB in SS and Titanium.
All razors except Blackbird is, for me, smooth razors and I'll give my opinion with the quality of the shave. Regarding efficiency Blackbird is miles ahead of the rest. I'm a daily shaver with, I suppose, above medium beard growth.
1. Timeless .95 SB Ti
2. Blackbird SB Ti
3. Timeless .95 OC Ti
4. Timeless Ti Slim
5. Blackbird SB SS
6. Tatara Nodachi
7. Timeless .95 SB SS
8. RazoRock Lupo SS
9. Timeless .68 SB SS
10. Tatara Masamune
11. Karve (what I recall E was the best plate for me, but I honestly didn't like it a lot)
All razors except Karve are very good for me. Karve isn't bad, but no where near the hype in my opinion.
1--4 are the best razors I've ever tried.
Both Blackland and Timeless are role models for good customer service.
