PIF Donations Needed - Seeing a Surge In Demand

We have experienced an increasing demand for shaving items from those in need. 

Please, if you have quality software or hardware in new to good condition, send it our way

Also, if you would be willing to sponsor shipping, please reach out - we have gone through our shipping donations as of today

Initial contact can be made via PM but we will transition to text or email for fulfillment. 

We are maintaining a detailed database to track donations and outlays so all is managed to accountability. 

Would love to have reported things so well, there no need for the PIF but unfortunately things trending for the worse

This is a great idea! I heard from a guy I knew a couple of years ago, that knew a guy who wanted a good razor but had just lost his job. He was gifted a new Maggard style DE, and his confidence and spirit were boosted both by a great shave as well as knowing that he was important, and people he didn't know cared enough to lend a hand.

You just need to participate in the forum a wee bit. Find a few threads that look interesting and join the conversations. I don't remember what the threshold is, but it won't take too long to open up message access once you've started joining some conversations.

Folk, demand is surging again. Can't believe it possible but even running low on razors!  AS splash running low; we would be hurting on brushes too had we not received a nice donation last week

We just used the last of the shipping donations today and could use shipping partners

At the risk of asking the obvious, how does shipping partnership work Dan? Is it as simple as shipping donated items directly to the party in need?

Actually by doing remote stocking and shipping, would substantially increase shipping costs. We try to match recipients with the items they want so to some reasonable extent they are asked to list their needs and preferences whether it be brands, prod types or scents. The guys have been real good about not going over the top. In response we offer them a range of items fitting their stated needs to select amongst.

The shipping sponsorships can be undertaken one of two ways:

Pay for and foreward labels to me as needed via email

Or

make a paypal donation we draw upon

Either is appreciated

We keep a very detailed database in case of issues or the PIF being readministrated in the future. Every item donated and allocated has been cataloged ad nauseam

I just wanted to thank any and all of you that donated to help people out with some things. I am very poorly situated right now and thanks to you all I was able to get going with some good stuff from everyone here at DFS. I now have a good razor soap and brush and couldn’t be happier. You have made me one happy lady. Thanks a bunch, this is an awesome thing you guys are doing. I was told about this by someone else and am referring another friend and think it’s so cool that there is a place people can go to when they are in need.
