The paypal currency conversion is a scam. I noticed this while buying a razor from the UK and soaps from Canada.

This won't be resolved here. Don't like it, don't use it. There are many other foreign websites that sell razor products. Of course, they offer zero protection when you get screwed by foreign vendors which is commonplace in the Third World.  Rolleyes

Perhaps paying via Credit Card. My experience for refunds (not ebay related) is full amount originally withdrawn is returned, even after a considerable amount of time.

Sure, if you like having to cancel your credit/debit cards constantly due to them being stolen/hacked on the Internet.

Just trying to hustle a couple bucks now that eBay is gone.  Just like American Express.  When Costco dropped them, the amount of nickel and dime actions going on at Amex is ridiculous. I let mine fall off, done and dusted as they say.

PayPal....1% to transfer your balance to your checking account.  It’s brilliant imo, hustlin’....

Unauthorized amounts taken from your account(s) are recovered by the bank. How may people out there have had to cancel a credit card because of this happening multiple times?

I had to close two in a six month period. I will never use one on the Internet again. Paypal or bust. The only exception is when I can call a USA business and give a card over the phone.
