Similar to what classic shaving did with the Occam

They said from the beginning that when they were ready to ship they would ask for my address and charge my paypal. They sent an email asking for my address and my paypal now says pending, so maybe they are ahead of schedule? Who knows.

Hi all

New to the forum. I've only ever used a Merkur before but found it quite uncomfortable and gave me a lot of nicks. Would this razor be different in any way?

No idea since none of us have one yet, but what Merkur? It honestly doesn't matter what kind of razor you have though. It is more about technique.

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...

Project Update #6: Parthenon Razor - adjustable for superb shaving comfort by QSHAVE

Status Update on April 11th 2018

Dear all,

We just got the first sample out of the tooling. Better than we expected, just few minor things need to be fixed.

I think one design change we have made needs to be mentioned here. We found the adjustable dial is little bit slippery, so we add a pattern on it. You can see it in the picture attached (brass handle without coating). Now you can easily turn it even when your fingers are wet or with shaving soap lather : )

Based on the tooling progress, we are very confident to meet the schedule (ship in June).

Have you had an update yet as to shipping/approximate delivery time?

That has nothing to do with the razor issues, it takes longer than a month to get the hang of shaving with safety razor to the point no matter what razor u use you end up getting good shaves no irritation. Give it 5-6 months at least

I disagree.
You need BOTH technique and the right razor (and the right blade, and lather, and a brush that doesn't scratch your skin...and good prep).
It's never about one thing.

Sheesh, it didn't take me that long before I was getting good shaves. I guess we all have different levels of dexterity and whatnot. If we were talking straights I would agree with you though.
