Is there no planned 2nd release of the 17-4?

I have one and it will affect my decision whether or not to mail it off to a friend to try it out ;-)

Probably yes ... 2017 was my launch year. I can only produce limited numbers at the moment. I hope to be able to keep several models in production in future.

Thanks Andy. I was planning on mailing my razor to a friend so he can try it out, but I don't want to risk USPS losing it if I wont be able to replace it. Its a very special shaver and I don't want to lose it!

And yes, I like it THAT much!

I feel the same way. I’m happy to loan a cherished razor to a friend, unless I can’t replace it if it gets lost. I hate to turn down requests and opportunities, but unobtainium, whether permanent or temporary, is very real. I’m hopeful that the original Paradigm Titanium, with the more aggressive head, is just temporary...

There is a place for both in my den.  After all, variety is the spice of life!  I will be curious to hear opinions about Ti v.2.  Are you going to make any changes in the head geometry of the 17-4 to accommodate for the different material?

Geometry is the same, shave is quite similar. I like a lighter razor, so I prefer the ti. They are just about finished machining, then off to polisher. These will also have a mirror finish, though not quite as bright due to nature of material.

Is this a different finish than the original Ti?
