I have never received a “bad” Paladin knot but the newer knots seem to really be setting a new standard, at least for me. I was lucky enough to get the turquoise McInroy Amphora Paladin brush with 26mm knot. I ribeyes (what the heck did the spellchecker think I was typing!) RINSED the knot and lathered it twice with Zingari brush cleaning soap. This is the end result.
