In my mind, as an artisan soap maker, your ingredients would be sacred.

Where is the proof, that Erik made up his ingredient list for his soaps ?

If he really did this, I will boycott this brand totally from now on, just like I do with all products from eShave, because of the lady in charge of the company and her ignorance combined with arrogance.

I haven't seen the ingredients on Synergy.

The issue was discovered and posted on B&B a while back - http://www.badgerandblade.com/vb/showthr...p?t=424933
As the thread progressed, I remember ingredients lists on his website disappearing and then corrected. The explanation given by, I think 'Douglas' at that time (Erik had not yet made public that the Douglas thing was a character. He was still presented as real...), was that he was anti-FDA, or something like that. To me, it just did not pass muster. To me, an honest ingredients list is an obligation to your customers, not just a formality.

What does any of this matter and why is this constantly argued?

If you don't like it or the owner, then don't buy it. Every time you discuss it you give him MORE advertising. The next new person is going to see a 12 page thread and think ... Hmm, that must be a great product. They are NOT going to read this mess.

If you do like the stuff, then buy it. Why is there so much drama. Just move on?

Mods, don't you think this is out of hand?

Because what he did is morally wrong and deceptive.

I can't say what I truly think of the guy as I would be instantly banned. I hope every thread with any of his name's or companies mentioned gets shut down.
