Nope. But post shave was pretty good with CK-6. It never feels moisturized to the level of mystic water but stays 'not-so-dry' for a long time after the shave (without any AS).

With some soaps, my face felt moisturized after the shave but the dry feeling kicks in with time. Not so much with CK-6 - it stays neutral for a good amount of time.

(on a separate note, I didn't feel residual slickness was enough to allow some buffing, and lather didn't feel dense like some other soaps I enjoy. But YMMV and all that)

Sounds about how I feel, but I haven't tried MW.

So is the only place to buy Mystic Waters through their site only?  I've read a lot of posts mentioning problems lathering it also.  I love mitchell's wool fat as a soap, but rarely use it when I have soaps that are 10X easier to lather and take minimal effort.

Thanks for the info on the post-shave, Sourav. Smile

EFDan, yes, you can only buy Mystic Water on her site and the soap isn't as difficult as some make it seem. Shy

I’m a sucker for Creed Aventus. And well, the recently released new Gray Label Doppelgänger CK-6 formula with the famed Creed Aventus scent was available so, I bit. I really wasn’t going to purchase another CK-6 soap but, I can’t resist the Aventus elixir. And honestly, this one delivers in the scent especially with the cologne/as splash and Star Jelly gel. As I’ve stated before, much better than average in performance and the scent is pretty good with decent projection and good longevity. I used a bit more product than usual with the soap and the lather was actually very good with excellent slickness and protection. Post shave was still just a notch below compared to my tallow based soaps but, very respectable. Another really good addition to PAA’s CK-6 line....

There are better artisans with better business ethics than PAA to purchase from.

LOL

I'm waiting for Solstice to be released in the CK6 formula. At that point I plan on ordering it along with High Jump soap and a couple of Splashes as my Al Fin and CaD spashes are getting a little low.

nice, I hadn't known that Douglas released a new doppelganger scent. I'll probably pick this one up as well since I also like the creed aventus scent quite a bit.

Got this one in a couple of days ago. Doppelgänger Green Label, an homage to Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. Green, powdery and straight up a classic barber shop like type scent. If you enjoyed the real deal, this one is definitely worth a look. The soap scent is a bit lighter and not as pronounced as the aftershave/cologne but, you catch nice whiffs of it when lathering and applying. The splash is nearly a dead ringer to the original with decent longevity. Performance is really good as the rest of the CK-6 line up is.
