What do you consider top tier tallow soaps (Trying to see if I have any that are the same to compare it to)?
I’ve seen several “mini-reviews” for the various CK6 soaps on Instagram. All the comments I’ve seen have been very positive.
In addition to the Doppelgängers, the formula has made it to Will-O-The-Wisp (which I believe also exists in the old formula), Cavendish, and Scentsless. I could be missing something here, since there seems to be a new alternative coming out every few days.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Top tier tallow for me at the moment is Talbot. It’s number 1 in my den at the moment. Top tier also includes DG Icarus, barrister and Mann, and Wholly Kaw.

I think it is as good as B&M and Wholly Kaw. If you load the brush (I used a synthetic) for more than ten seconds you are going to be adding a TON of water to get it where you want though. I will say it can take a lot of water without coming close to breaking down at all. I think the post shave is better than those two soaps. If you like sauvage you will love the scent. I have the the EdT and he pretty much nailed it. My only knock on it is price. $24.95 for five ounces is steep although the other two I mentioned are in that range also (Except Seville it is about $16 if I remember correctly) and you get 4 oz of soap so I guess they are all in the same ballpark. It's REALLY hard to say one is better than the other when you compare the three of them (For me anyway) other than the post shave. The differences to me are so small that I think if you asked three different people they would say three different things.
The aftershaves by PAA have always had staying power for me. I put it on at 7 am and hugged my wife at 4 pm and she said I still smelled great. I'll continue to purchase those for sure.
