+1. I've been enjoying this soap for over a week, now, and lacking in the strength department, it isn't.

I have a tub of OSP Sandalwood, very good performance. Most of the OSP soaps have lighter scents, but I get a strong citronella scent from the Sandalwood, not as strong as Stirling Electric Sheep, and the OSP soap had a scent I did not care for at first, but as time goes by i like it more and more.

After not using this soap for over two years I shaved with the OSP Bay Rum (original puck form almost 3 years ago) this morning and while it still is a very mildly scented soap I was struck by just how excellent a soap base it is. I had a truly wonderful 3 pass shave using the Rockwell 6s #3 PSI. I'd forgot how great a soap this was. Even though this is one of OSP's original soaps from 3 years ago it still more than holds its own against any soap on the market today performance wise. If that scent thing could be tweaked it would be a top choice for me. Maybe we could convince hawns to reach out across the water and do a collaboration with James. Its a natural fit in my mind Big Grin

As a soap maker, that's very tricky.
Make it too strong, observe safety limits, too weak, all while accounting for different acuities of noses. Not simple.

I have OSP Orange and Patchouli. It has great lather and performance and the smell is 5/6 out of 10 on strength. I also have an incredible amount of soaps, but would definitely add other OSP if I mysteriously ever run low.

I had a sample tub of the Orange & Patchouli and to my schnozz it was stout and one of the most hypnotizing/narcotizing scents in a shave soap that it has been my pleasure to smell. I couldn't stop sniffing it. Sad

They have a new scent out now: lemon, peppermint & menthol. That sounds tantalizing. Wink

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

It's hard enough logistically with domestic collaborations, I can't even imagine the freight costs for all of that back and forth!

Anyway, I'm pretty much in a monogamous collaboration relationship Smile
