A little about me: degree in Chem with a minor in Bio in 1997 from John Carroll here in OH. Did a few years of transplant immunology research (mostly tissue culture) before I decided to teach English and Science to 7th graders in Cleveland. Facebook tells me I took that job 15 years ago this month. Stopped teaching four days before my daughter Robyn was born in 2007. Decided to start soapmaking because Brian has sucky, er sensitive, skin. Got badgered into making lotions and bath bombs (and bath salts) by friends and family. Made it a business venture. Then BAM, pregnant with twins (found out it was twins three years ago this week!), who are now approaching 2.5yo. Spent much of the first half of last year developing my shave soap. Been working on reading about essential oils and developing scents, but that's pretty slow going, you know, because I have two year old crazy boys. Jason, the older one by 15 minutes, seemingly has a death wish. Dan, the younger, is my sweet, more cautious one.
I also enjoy cooking and baking (I make an amazing cheesecake) and my reef tank, that has been rather neglected. My poor clownfish, who is 8, has been a widow for the last few months. Big Momma, his mate, died after a long 12 years in my living room.
