There's a better & faster solution: make it yourself. Buy an unscented version of your selection and simply grate it up and then add cologne of your choice. Smile

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

I'm just glad my favorite AS maker decided to team up with my favorite soap maker. Chatillon Lux and Declaration Grooming.

I bought all of the AS samples from Ogallala, as well as a full bottle of the special reserve, which I PIF'd. I'm not really a bay rum fan, although I love Chatillon Lux Blackberry Bay Blossom, and find moments for Co9T and PAA's Bay Rum and Atomic Age. And I enjoy Derby City Chop Shop, which has no bay resemblance to my nose.

I regret making this post, in part because as a kid my family and I always stopped at the Ogallala truck stop every time we went to visit grandparents in Lexington and Hastings, Nebraska, from Boulder. I have very fond memories of Ogallala (or at least its truck stop).

For someone who claims not to be a fan of bay rum you sure seem to like a lot of them. Big Grin Resistance is futile....

You caught me. Actually, I've yet to meet a scent I don't like, although I like some more than others.

It would be easier, and cheaper, to be binary. My wife, for example, can easily categorize my scents into yes or no. The other morning, just as I was splashing on some B&M Roam aftershave as the final stop of my morning bathroom routine, my wife walked in. She wrinkled her nose, rolled her eyes, and said, "Why do you want to smell like a burnt match?" I smiled, and walked out of the bathroom just as she sprayed a huge dose of air freshener...

She hasn't yet complained about any of my bay rums. I'll keep wearing them. The Roam, and the Veg ("talcum-powdered cow patty"), I'll reserve for when she sleeps late...

You know what they say CCity , any attention is good attention. As long as your wife keeps noticing things are good.

Although I claim to be a bay rum fan, there are some that I don't care for as much as others. I probably lump myself into the binary camp - I either like something or I don't regardless of which family they fall into. There aren't many fragrances that I outright dislike, as I've mentioned before, if I don't like a soap or an aftershave its often because its scent is so mild that to my nose is virtually unscented. There's nothing wrong with unscented products but if I'd wanted unscented I'd have ordered it.
