I was looking around on Fendrihan and Top of the Chain earlier today trying to get correct model numbers for some of the Semogue brushes I have that I like a lot and naturally I had to look at "Latest" and "New Arrivals". Top of the Chain   Confused

That's one boat load of Latest stuff Carmine has listed there - it seems that Murphy and McNeil is back.  With a vengeance.  They have two versions of something they call Barbershop De Los Muertos.  Two, not one, not sure what was behind that decision but maybe Murphy couldn't agree with McNeil on which of the betas was best so they went with both.  Why choose.  My own barber of 23 years passed away suddenly this past winter so I'm not sure how I feel about Barbershop of the Dead.

As I say in the header, I'm officially overwhelmed.

No kidding! I saw some of that last night but he just keeps adding more.

I’m trying to show some restraint after having so little for the last year or so Big Grin

I know - and that's not even all of the stuff he's added in the last day or so.  Theres some B&M and some House of Mammoth....

Once upon a time I could say that I'd get everything then I could say that I'd just get new releases from a small number of artisans then I'd just get the stuff from maybe one or two artisans and Limited Editions but now I'm like the robot from Lost In Space...there's smoke and sparks coming out of my ears and my software is glitching

I've got a partial remedy - at least for me.

I use OneNote Clipper and put the soaps I think I want onto a Want List in One Note.  There they can simmer for a few days or weeks.  When I re-visit the list, a semblance of clarity bubbles to the top of my aging brain.

I know the feeling.

A couple of years ago (before COVID) I attended the Maggard Shave Meet at the store in Adrian Michigan. My wife and I arrived a day early so we could meet the staff and look around the store before it was invaded on Saturday afternoon by hundreds of eager shaving customers. I was like a kid in a candy store. I especially liked walking around and sniffing dozens of shaving soaps, picking out those I wanted to purchase and noting the scents that were not to my liking.

Unfortunately, the Maggard meet was cancelled for 2020 and 2021.

I believe Fendrihan is online only, but looking through their website is still like looking through the Sears and Roebuck catalog when I was a kid. Sadly, the catalog option is a relic of the past.

Hi Marco

Sorry to hear about your Barber may he Rest In Peace, and same here I have that soap De Los Muertos and for some reason I personally don’t like skulls and theme of this soap barbershop of dead I get it all behind it what they actually wanted to make and they make great soap but I just ahhh not my thing,

One soap I’ll like to have is Murphy and McNeil Kells great smelling soap and scent is amazing..

I Completely understand where you are coming from…

Take care
