I have communicated with James many times over the past year or so. He has ALWAYS responded promptly. My transaction for his new razor was no different. He is a class act.

I am glad someone else said it.  For me the Slim is just entirely to rough to use.  I have and keep one because it is a birth year razor but I absolutely hate the thing.

Not to derail the conversation, but I'm curious what makes the slim rough? Granted, I've only used mine maybe twice, as I greatly prefer the Fat Boy. I just assumed they shaved similarly. For reference, I use my FB on the 8 setting.

I can't really explain it. I have never used a FB or super adjustable, but I got good shaves from a Red Tip and other vintage Gillettes. The Slim just didn't work for me. I wanted it to, cause its a fine looking razor, but it didn't. I figured it was just me. YMMV of course!

Anyhow, I'm excited to hear about the new razor from GoHabs.

YMMV is right! So many things are highly subjective in this hobby. Thanks for your input though!

I have emailed James too with prompt reply. There have been people in the past who accused him of not replying when he was busy making razors and they thought badgering beyond brushes to get a razor was acceptable.

I for one think this is great. I am a fan of the razors the best smooth/close/consistent razors I have out of approx. 80. I have a couple in different gaps. They are hard to replace and I travel a lot for work and it would be nice to take a razor that shaves as well but is somewhat replaceable. I'll buy one.

was literally kicked in his rear by a former patron's man servant throwing him out. Wolfgang was known to fail completing some commissions or tossing off a variation of previous work. I've heard examples and damn if I don't love both.

I guess these guerrillas are going to be trained to fight scalpers, haha.

I just paid my invoice. Have couple of Wolfman and really like them.

There is no post from James on any forums and there is so much excitement about his razors. All talk is from his satisfied customers. I think his craftsmanship speaks for itself.

If you don't mind me asking how long after sending an email to James did you receive your invoice?
