Thanks for the welcome everyone! I'll just clear up that I'm not from the U.K., but rather I am one of the many American fans of Fulham Football Club and tend to use the name in my online handles. Thanks for the offers of help though, it is greatly appreciated.

Good advice! Any place in particular for a good amount of trial sizes? Italian Barber and Maggard are all I've checked out so far.

For blades, give Try A Blade (http://tryablade.com/) a look. You can get as many or few blades as you would like, prices and shipping are reasonable, and it is a great way to make up your own sample pack.

Tough to beat Maggard's for soap samples. Definitely give them a shot.

For aftershaves, I really like the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements and Stirling. PAA has samples of all of their colognes for something like $0.99 each. Not sure about samples of Stirling, but their soaps and splashes are both exceptional performers.
