I am saying vendors should share details and photos of the item he is selling.
And customer can read details in the sale page and decide whether he will purchase it.

You are saying this razor released before, and vendors don't have share details and photos.
Customer has to research to find the details out of bullgoose website.

I am saying I am not happy this approach. I don't prefer to use this vendor. That is all.

I understand your points friend. I get it...but, I think there a some razors/brands that get released that stand and sell, solely on their reputation. They really don't need an introduction and are probably going to be somewhat limited in numbers that they are going to sell out in moments...without photos, a description, specs, and no matter the price.

You know how it works, these artisans, much like the custom knife world, have almost cult followings. You my friend, just stumbled on one example.

Ive not held a Barbaros and I'm kinda miffed I missed this one...even knowing nothing of its shaving characteristics. If I don't like it, I'm 99% certain I can get my money out of it. It's the nature of this game and I enjoy playing it. I am just tickled Barbaros is back! It give me something to look forward to. Keeps this hobby interesting.

As to Phil, I will just say this, no matter where the fault lies with the new 17-4, that dude ate a crap load of $$$. Not only on the new one, but apparently the original as well. Whether I like him or not is irrelevant...I would hate to see it happen to even my worst shave acquaintance. For a small business to actually leap to it's feet to refund ALL payments AND leave the hardware on the street? The man has my respect.

Give Barbaros a shot brother. I can't wait to throw some USD at him.

I don’t believe Phil offered all the TR2s as part of his pre-sale. Kind of like he did with the 17-4, he offered some for pre-sale and had some in reserve for when they arrived. Not 100% sure of that but I do believe more will be available when they are added to his website.

I skipped the TR2 and plan on getting the TR3 when Phil received them.

Amen to that my man!! I think this one is too mild for you though. That’s the reason why I passed on this version.

I can say all positive about Barbaros. He is the designer of B&R adjustable razor which is first or second cnc machined adjustable razor,
and he has very cool designs like gem injector razor.
He is very talented artisan.

I totally agree with your points. I just don't like market is going that way:
limited razors, sold-out for sure and even no need photos or description.
I am afraid this will be popular like pre-order item in wet shaving.

You’ve missed the point completely, which, I suppose, was the reason for my original post.

The Man in the Arena. I always remind myself to Always respect the man in the arena. It's not about him, it's about me. If I don't respect him I am worthless. I don't personally know Phil, I bought my Rocnel and had a top notch customer service. It doesn't matter how he runs his business, it's his business. I may decide to not support his business but I will always respect him.

Hello gentlemen,

Thanks for the feedbacks and critics which i find correct. Like all of you, i am a human being and a customer! So when i check something i absolutely want to see some details about the item in the vendor's page or at least the manufacturer's website. That's my fault, i am sorry for not getting ready a nicely built website. You see a low quality website when you browse it, thats because i myself created that website, didn't get a publish ready platform or hire a webmaster. The images look crap for me too because they are old, I even don't have a lightbox! I also dont see myself a good content creator, can't find beautiful words, well-built sentences Smile

To be honest, i hadn't really cared about the website since i checked the traffic which was very very low, and got the impression that people get the information from forums. And i wanted to spend my time for the razors which were produced 6 months ago but not been ready until 2 weeks ago. I am checking all the parts myself, repolish them, No matter in what condition i get them from polisher, i spot some dull point, small marks etc. and, i feel the urge to retouch them (i don't know maybe i am that odd). So it takes almost all of my spare time, weekends etc.

The bottom line is, i should have cared the website more and shouldn't have let the interested visitors struggle to get the information from other sources. I am sorry for this inconvenience. By the way, i managed to create a simple information page in a couple of minutes for now. As soon as i find the right time, i will take better shots, create a little bit more and better content.

It is still in protoyping stage since i had to change a couple of machining shops during this journey. I am waiting for another prototype from this last shop. Nothing will change except the bars to combs. I am planning to keep the blade gap and exposure the same. I will decide after testing it even though i am not an OC fan. I suppose i can get a plate together with a couple of other materials (still designing) next month. And i am planning to pair the TR-3 with the Kalyon handle
