New OneBlade Offer

I admit that I'm still a little confused by this and not sure what happens at the end of the trial if you do decide to return the razor. What all must be returned? What can you keep? Is the $99 upfront refundable or completely gone?

Regardless, this is an innovative way to attract those buyers who have been on the fence due to financial reasons.

Ah yes, saw this this morning and just mentioned it on my OneBlade thread as well. My understanding is that the $99 shaving kit (minus the razor) is not refundable; you're in for that much at least. If that's indeed how it works, I can see where some folks would prefer the more straightforward approach of just buying the razor and taking advantage of the 30-day return period. Still, it's a nice deal if you want all the stuff in the kit, and it's a discount off the razor, all told.

I wonder if I should ask for the shaving kit since I payed the same price for only the razor just recently? Smile

It won't hurt to ask. Worst they can do is say no.

The response on their Facebook page aren't pretty. If those people think it's stupid, why are they on that page?

I wonder if returned razors will be sold as "refurbished" at a discount?

As SharpSpine said, I'd ask. If you are within the 30 days of your initial purchase, you could always play that card. Tell them it's cheaper in the end to give you the kit, then for you to return the purchase and rebuy with the free kit.

If they say NO and are in fact within their return policy, I would return and rebuy.

I wasn't being entirely serious with my question. I guess I wouldn't MIND the kit, but looking at everything in it, it's nothing I want all that much. So I'm happy leaving it alone and enjoying my new OneBlade and the many brushes and four million soaps and creams I already have. Smile

Yeah, the only thing in the kit that I'd want is the leather holster. The rest would go unused.

Pretty much exactly my thoughts.
