Some quick thoughts. I bought Trismegistus, After the Rain and YRP in Milksteak base on release and have had a chance to use both several times with 2 different brushes and different razors. My basic analysis is that it is a really fantastic base in that it is creamy/yogurty as all-get-out and it provides lots of cushion and moisturization. In that regard, it is minimally better than the old Bison Tallow. Where this soap falls slightly short IMO is in slickness. I own several other soap brands that have much better slickness (Oleo Canard base being the slickest in my den).

The scents are all good, but may not be for everyone. I personally love ATR just like I did in the old Bison Tallow base. It smells identical to me between the two bases. I did not previously own YRP or Trismegistus, so let me just say that I started off sort of disliking YRP because it had a Potpourri-esque scent to it, and I still think that is true, but I have gotten used to it. I will use up the jar, but not repurchase it. Trismegistus is a dead clone for the original Terre d'Hermes and I even think it has a hint of similarity to Creed Aventus. Very manly stuff and also VERY strongly scented not just in the puck, but also has a lot of longevity on the skin without the need for splash. It may actually be the only soap I use that is scented so strong that I can smell it on my hours later even if I used a cologne in addition. I can't imagine how extreme it would smell to use the splash, too.
