Gents,

I have two Gillette razors that I acquired a few years ago in NOS condition and tried them couple of times. Unfortunately, neither of them work for me and my two sons (who, I hoped would inherit the razors in mint condition) could not care less about these two pieces of practical history. I would like to either sell the razors or exchange them, so some one could enjoy these fine specimens. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to determine their value and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Alex

There is one on ebay, he is asking $160 for both. I think it is a fair price.

For the fat boy to price it is fairly simple. On ebay do a search for gillette fat boy and do use the sold, completed sales option. Find the high, low and as many middle prices as you want and average it. Also look at the condition and if they had cases then use that as a guideline to price it working up or down from the average or what you originally paid. Fat boys sell all day long so the idea is to not undercut yourself and not try to squeeze every last nickel out of it that you wind up with no nickels.

The slim do the same though I will say a Slim same condition and as a Fat Boy will sell less.

You might also want to keep in mind that many sellers on eBay add 10% to their asking price to compensate for the seller's fee they have to pay with each sale.
