As many of you know, I use a spreadsheet to track usage on my gear.  Prior to learning how to use Pivot Tables, I would name my gear so various components would automatically populate into the spreadsheet.  Even once I incorporated the PTs, I kept using the names in the spreadsheet because, well, some are just "right".  For example, the Lupo 0.72 SB is named El Camino (listen to Elizabeth Cook's song by the same name and you'll understand why).

It's probably much more popular in the car collector's world, but does anybody else name their shave gear?  Any good names you want to share?

The only piece of gear I have named would be this brush made by Southern Witchcrafts. It had no name associated with it when it was for sale, so keeping with the witchcraft theme I've dubbed it "philtre" like a magic potion due to its resemblance to a potion bottle.[Image: a09c95bf72988fcdd1bba2bb11fa4322.jpg]

Off the top of my head I have 4 Brushes named

"Stuart" for obvious reasons EDIT - And the Pretty blue brush to the left of Stuart is The Kentuckian, named by Tim who turned it. Knothead Brushworks. I knew I'd forget some and know there are more.......

"Clown Puke"It was the 1st time Eric Sorrentino mixed his own brush blanks for 3 people on video. What was left from each of the 3 blanks he did was used to pour this one which I aquired and it was dubbed the Clown Puke because of it just being colors left over much like leftover soap making up a clown puke tub.

I call this brush “California,” as the colors remind me of a classic California license plate.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
