Got a package from ezlovan yesterday, with the new 26 × 54 in it. Decided to take a side-by-side photo with the “Kong” just for the sake of comparison.

The new handle is really nice. Did a palm lather with the new brush just to try it out, and the results were fantastic. Obviously there is a lot more backbone compared to the Kong — due to the much shorter loft — so time will tell how it’ll work for face lathering. The Kong is already a favorite, and I fully expect the new brush to become one, as well.

Nice-look forward to your thoughts on use as I very much like the idea of a shorter loft but hope it's not like using a pencil eraser!

Brush looks great and like the handle too.

Please do keep us posted.

I bought the whole range of Synthetics from Rod. And 3 of the 24 mm (travel and workplace brush)
Looking forward to testing them all out

I have been worried the kong would be too big for me, but after reading this, I think I need to give the larger knot a fair shot. Thanks!

The Kong, with its large knot, tall loft and hefty handle may feel a little clumsy at first. But let me tell you, every time I’m splaying it against my face, or finishing up the lathering with some painting strokes — and the amount of lather seems almost neverending and the brush tips have the most soft feeling — one word always comes to mind: luxurious.
