So I was able to find a standard gap WR1 with a Darwin handle. I wanted an SB but ended up with the OC after asking with the seller about how well the PC works. It showed up yesterday and after I unwrapped it and checks it out I couldn't wait to try it. I waited until this morning and loaded a fresh Astra blade. After lathering up with L Occitane Cade soap, I made the first pass. My first thought was wow, it seems like it's super smooth. For a second I thought it was maybe missing a lot of my two day scruff. I also felt like I wasn't in love with the Darwin.

After the first pass, I realized that not only was it not missing anything, it was cutting so well that I probably could have stopped there.

I lathered up and made the second pass anyway. When rinsing, I was surprised how smooth and not irritated my face was. Usually when I shave this close I remove the first layer of skin and feel it when applying aftershave.

All day long, I've been checking and just now starting to feel a bit of stubble.

I'm pretty amazed and looking forward to shaving again tomorrow morning.

There are days when I wish I could shave twice. This is one of those daysWink

Now I'm looking forward to trying a BBS-1 to see the difference between the two.

Congratulations on a successful first shave with your new Wolfman. Out of curiosity, what razor were you using prior to the Wolfman?

I've been using an ATT M1 and R1. Great razors and I love them. This is just another level.

The Wolfman is definitely in my top 3. Believe it or not, it took me a while to get there, wasn't love at first shave for me. Once I used it over and over however, it became one of my personal favorites. It is right behind my Timeless for best shaver.

My Wolfman was love at first shave. Remarkably easy to use and very efficient. Haven't had a hint of razor burn from it either ragardless of blade. Love it more each time I pick it up. Good luck with yours!
