Beethoven is probably my favorite classical music composer and I always knew I had only heard a fraction of his music.  I'm not a huge fan of music in the cloud (whatever "the cloud" is) or on my phone.  I still enjoy CDs and the music coming out of my speakers in the living room.  Recently, I purchased this boxed set of 86 CDs of Beethoven's complete works and have decided to work my way from the back to the front, simply because the front starts with his most familiar works and I was curious to hear other pieces.  So far, I have not been disappointed in the least and these works simply confirm for me the brilliance of the man.

Right now, I am listening to the discs you see here.

If you listen to that too much you'll go deaf, Freddy.

To this day, I am always amazed to think that Beethoven was almost totally or completely deaf when he wrote his Ninth Symphony.

Truth be told, John, I was never a big Elvis fan. Winking

...and I'll teach him to shave.
Gordon MacRae in Carousel, the first musical I saw. He and Shirley Jones were wonderful, making singing the story seem just as normal as talking.
