How can you tell if a brush is an original M&F or a Brad Sears Collaboration? Does it even matter?[Image: b5c716ea14cec7b31269e091e8b282a3.jpg]

Amazing this bazooka.

As I have been informed, in this color are first brushes from Brad/Lee collaboration. It'd be great more information about, I'm very interested.

And another question: Are there many M&F in this color??

I do not believe there are many that were made in this color. I contacted Brad about having another one made and he said it was a special order color and in order to get it again he would have to order enough to make about 500 brushes. He now carries a new resin called passionate pink which I did order so I can compare the two.

Funny. My wife thinks the same thing. It’s more hot pink in person if that makes it any better. To me the color stands for breast cancer awareness which is a passion of mine and is my I wanted one.

And you didn't ask him directly about if it was a Lee brush or one of his collaborations ??

I didn’t. My question was more in general about the M&F brushes. I was told that mine was a Brad Sears collaboration I was just curious if there was a way to tell visually.

There is no visual distinction (other than the box the BSSW come in). Good old (and new?) M&F come in a pouch envelope...

My new Brad Sears / M&F brushes have on the other side
"Hand Made
Blonde Badger (I believe Finest Badger was another option)
Made in England "

As stated above, the Box is another really excellent clue. There are some colors

If it came in a BSSW box it's a BSSW brush.

Also the only tell I've found on Polo's is the base.  Lee seemed to do his with a really clunky bottom that you can really grab onto which I love the look of where Brad does a cleaner line.

Here is my Polo turned by Brad which looks very similar to yours in shape:

And here is a Polo turned by Lee which I got from a sales post in 2011. Notice the bottom:

Both Brad and Lee have very subtle difference in their brushes and to really know the difference you'll have to have known where the brush comes from or have enough Sabini and Sears handles to know the differences after looking at them.

I have 2 full Sabini M&F brushes that are very nice but I'd like to add a few more from Brad just cause something about M&F brushes I love.
