there are a million replies here so I don't have the time to read through all of the pages and I don't know if this razor has been mentioned. I have the Minatiour don't know if I spelled that right, but its the razor that was offered at discounted price on amazon a while back, this thing is not too mild but man its efficient as all get out. I have like 20 or 30 razors and for the past 3 months or so that's been my go to besides straights. If your looking for an affordable razor that's not super aggressive, but yet very very efficient this is the one.

Shaven in the Past
My 53/54 Rocket HD500 and DE89 are my top two smooth and efficient razors.

For some reason I get better results with the 102. Perhaps I should revisit the x3 with a sharper blade. Polsilver?

I switched back to my first DE razor - an EJ DE89 - for my last two shaves and got really comfortable shaves with zero irritation (particularly the neck). I forgot how smooth this razor was. I may make this my primary razor again.

The DE89 was my first razor and still remains in my den. It is my backup to the AS-D2. With an Astra SP blade it provides a close and smooth shave. I still prefer the AS-D2 for it's mildness, but both are excellent razors. There is one other razor that I had great success with, and that was the iKon 101. The only problem was I didn't like the open comb side at all, which to me defeated the purpose of having a DE, as I like to use both sides to not have to rinse the razor as often. I asked iKon if they ever plan to offer a 101 with safety bar on both sides but they do not.

I couldn't agree with you more on the 101.  I am actually in search of a comparable razor to the 101, but without the open comb.  Because I am impressed with them, I am actually hoping either the RazoRock Mamba or Game Changer might fit the bill.  It might be a shot in the dark, but would anyone have some insight on how either of those compare to the 101?
