Mike's Natural Soap

Big fan of Mike's and being from Ann Arbor it's always good to support local artisans. So far I have Orange,C&BP, Barbershop, Vetiver, and Pine & Cedar.

Had anyone tried the Coconut scent? How is its strength?

How do you like the pine & cedar in terms of quality and strength of scent?

Pine & Cedar is one of Mike's best scents in my opinion. Just excellent.

To me the Coconut scent strength was very light, but it smelled nice. I currently have Bay Rum, Lavandin & Eucalyptus, and Peppermint & Rosemary. I love the scents of these three and the strength is medium. I am eyeballing Pine & Cedar.

How much water are you typically using to achieve those results?

I am not sure how much water I am getting in as I don't bother to measure out what goes in.  I just continue adding water while building my lather on the puck until the lather looks like what I want to shave with.

Agree, it was my favorite Mike's scent.

How's Mikes Lime? Does it smell like limes or more of the candy lime scent? Also, I have seen that lime is not the longest lasting scent, for those that have owned it for a longer period of time has it maintained its lime scent. Thank you.

I mostly taste (read: eat) candy lime and not smell it. BUT! Mike's lime is great. Smells 98% of what a real lime smells like. The other 2% is the other ingredients in the soap. It's a great spring/summer time soap. I think I had my tin for a few months before using it up. I did not notice degradation in the scent.
