I have been part of the development of this razor from the beginning. Additionally, this production razor was a gift from Jeremy at Menlo.
It is a very efficient razor with a minimal blade feel. I feel that it cuts more hair on the first pass than most razors I have tried. I mostly shave with a Feather DX. But I plan on shaving with this razor for the next 30 days.

After 30 days of use tell us how it compares to the Blackbird SB SS.
Or if you can do it tell us now and add comments after the elapsed time.

I will definitely continue to post my thoughts on the razor. Unfortunately, I can't compare it to the Blackbird SB SS. I used the BB-SS a few times, about 2 years ago. I do recall it was a really nice razor.
I'm curious about this razor. The head geometry looks like it flexes the blade quite a bit. My Fatip and Ascension are like that and I suspect that's why I enjoy them so much.

This is why it is useful to get reviews. According to Jeremy Menlo Shaving who I chatted with on IG, he felt the razor has a lot of blade feel. But Mo felt little blade feel.
The razor apparently has over 0.1mm blade exposure. By way of comparison, the Tatara Nodachi has 0.13mm positive blade exposure. Hard to say how it feels without trying it, but short of that, these user reviews are super helpful.
Keep us posted, GroomingDept how you like your shaves with the Menlo. Thanks for the updates.

It's really a neat razor! You can get a lot more blade-feel at a certain angle. but most of the time, at different angles, there is less blad feel, I was much more aware of the safety bar gliding, and the razor was still quite efficient.
