Nice looking razor heads. Thanks for sharing your experiences with them.

I've been watching the site occasionally and it looks like they are getting close. I like the design of the angular handle with notches on top labeled "full metal razor," but it looks like from the packaging that they're going in a different direction (which I'm a little disappointed to see). Do we know if there is a final design? Will different handle and head options be available? Materials?

I think finding a head geometry (gap/exposure) that will appeal to many will be difficult enough. Handle preferences are so varied that I think it would be incredibly difficult to choose one that would appeal to everyone.
Long story short: I would love to see a head only option as the current handle doesn't look to be in line with my personal preferences.

We are getting ready to release a few sets to the community soon but we've still not completed the production run yet and the packaging still needs to arrive.  More razors will be available this fall for sure.  I've been working in the shop till midnight for weeks getting things finalized.  Including the packaging (which came out awesome!)  The look we ultimately came up with for the first release is clean "not cluttered but different." We didn't want to imitate anything else out on the market.  Calling it "Nealon"

For now the first release will be a complete razor for around $200.  It will be polished Stainless.  We picked a harder Steel grade that was tough to machine but will ultimately be a better quality product in the end.  These may never be made from this same material again in the future.
If enough people are interested I'll consider doing heads only as a more economical option.  Not sure what the price on those will be yet.

The Geometry Mo and George helped me develop wound up being a large gap and positive exposure to give good feedback for a smooth efficient BBS shave for the advanced user.  Those guys have been awesome and I can't thank them enough!  It's very hard to decode qualitative feedback and turn it into geometry changes as a designer.  Most people don't realize that here's no button in the computer for smoothness!

In the future I am working on much more:

Dimpled and tapered handle designs
Longer 97mm handles
SE version for artist club blades!!!
Open comb
Ti
Ti with white Ceramic coating!
"Beginners" geometry base-plate for new users
Stands
Brushes
Collapsible travel handle?

Once again thanks for all the support

Great news.
Menlo Shaving Please go for timing so wet shavers located in the old world have a chance too.

About the photo with four handles side-by-side:
#1 - looks pretty good. My suggestion would be to drill the (5 mm?) hole all the way through to knock down the mass. I find that most modern handles are almost twice as heavy as they should be. I like the variation in dimple depth.
#2 - not for me
#3 and #4 - A taper with narrow top would seem to move the balance point too far to the bottom. A hollow #3 could work for me.

Here's a product idea - thin-walled stainless steel lather bowls with dimples and rings in similar patterns to the handles. But then you're getting into sheet metal fabrication.

Awesome. That's great. Put me in the list for one. What is the harder material? Originally the site listed 303 steel, does this mean you are going with 316? That would be grand.

I like the fourth handle option for what it's worth.

Can't wait to see.
