Thanks for the heads up. He shows as being logged in this morning so I am not sure why he did not respond. Why don’t we wait until tomorrow noon your time and if he does not respond by then you can send it to enahabedian and they can swap places.

I managed to get in a few head and face shaves, and even did a side-by-side with the Stirling ST.  I plan on doing a detailed review on my YouTube channel, but here's the cliff notes

• I would prefer a shorter handle with better knurling.
  
• The head is a bit tricky to clean because of all of the hard angles and the stepped baseplate.
  
• The shaving angle was pretty easy to find and was reasonably flexible, which is nice for head shaving.
  
• The razor was built well and seemed to have very good tolerances.  I never felt like I had to fiddle with the blade.
  
• I'm not sure how I feel about the indents in the baseplate, but not the top cap.  I nearly pinched the skin on my fingers a couple of times tightening the handle.
  
• The efficiency was pretty good, but not quite as good as the Stirling ST.
  
• It did bite me once on the cheek.  No blood, but a pretty good scratch...the kind I got once from a shavette.
  

All said and done, it's a really nice razor.  It couldn't beat out my Stirling ST, but it was more efficient than the Haircut & Shave Co. P076 I used the week before.  Definitely had some blade feel, though not too much, and supported the use of a steep shaving angle, which I like.

To me, this is the sort of razor that might fit someone looking for R41 (2013) level efficiency with a bit less blade feel..

Sorry for not checking in. I received the razor over the weekend and gave it one use so far with a Voskod blade. I used a steep angle per Ali's suggestion but I ended my shave with a lot of irritation. I'll give the razor another try tomorrow then I'll send it on to the next person on the list.

Shaved today with the Menlo again. Today's shave with the Menlo was much better than my previous shave with it. Good efficiency, but personally I think I get similar if not more efficiency with my WR2 1.25 SB.  The Menlo to me felt like it could easily bite if any extra pressure was used. During my first shave I got a couple slices on my face when I put the razor to my face which is something I definitely did not like. Today I used the razor with a titanium handle to take off a bit of weight.
