What other brushes would you compare the Marfin to? I really love the handcrafted wood look of them but are they comparable in knot quality to other higher end brushes?

I was also thinking if Thater 28mm 3-band which seem to be highly regarded.

What kind of knot is in there? Is it anything specific? Are they hand tied? Or does he just put in a knot from a distributor?
On an eternal den clearing mission at this point.
