I had been using Manukah Honey for quite some years and really enjoy it  Happy2 Now one down side it’s not cheap depending of UMF grade you choose I had been using 5 UMF and jumped to 10UMF which I usually buy at Costco for $42 cad so it’s a decent price last me maybe 2 months roughly.

Also to Note I only buy Comvita Honey Brand as my trusted source and it’s Certified 100%.

CERTIFIED UMF 10+ (MGO 263+)  Premium Grade Raw Manuka Honey comes from the nectar of the Manuka flower in the pristine forests of New Zealand. Comvita Manuka Honey is Raw, Wild, Unpasteurized, Non-GMO Project Verified, Halal, Kosher, and Certified Gluten-Free.

THE GOLD STANDARD  Every batch of Comvita Manuka Honey is independently tested and certified by the UMF Honey Association. Only UMF measures the three signature compounds (Leptosperin, DHA, and MGO – the key antibacterial marker) found in genuine, monofloral Manuka Honey.
NOT ALL MANUKA IS CREATED EQUAL  Many other popular Manuka products without UMF certification are branded with self-created terms like “Factors”, "Bio-Active", or “Active”. These lack the measurable standards ensuring Manuka’s quality, purity, authenticity, and value.

BENEFITS & USES  Manuka Honey is one of nature’s powerful wonders. It contains a unique range of beneficial oligosaccharides and prebiotics, amino acids, polyphenolic and other plant-derived compounds. Delicious and creamed to perfection, enjoy adding to your tea, oatmeal, yogurt, smoothie, or simply by the spoon.

Great as a morning wellness ritual, pre-workout natural energy source.

Just wanted to share something Healthy here with my DFS Folks.

Take care & Stay Healthy

AlanH81, I love honey and while I have seen Manuka honey in shops, the price has always kept me from trying it. Besides the claimed health benefits, what makes it so special that it is worth its high cost? I have always been curious about it, just not enough to spend that kind of money, so any information would be appreciated.

Thanks for reply I have dig into this manukah honey factor deeply to see if it truly works for ex. Being used for medicinal benifits such as healing wounds with 20UMF Manukah Honey it truly works like miracle and yet it’s powerful honey lol but price is steep tho.

Also it promotes oral health, help to prevent gastric ulcers, improve digestive symptoms, treat acne, and may treat symptoms of cystic fibrosis.

I also use it since I don’t take any sugars etc everyday in morning one small table spoon gives you great energy and you feel great no cravings for sugars at all it cuts you off once you start using it, now everybody is different and react different to other things..

It’s worth it in my opinion and truly helped me in many ways loosing weight and cutting sugar craving while providing other benefits as well.

Give it a try you’ll like it  Happy2

I absolutely swear by genuine Manuka Honey with the legit UMF seal, as per the link below.
Ive used UMF15 and found it to be sufficient. 5 is too little and 20 is overkill + vv expensive.

https://www.manukahoney.com/pages/testin...thenticity

This UMF certified type of Manuka contains potent anti-bacterial/viral/inflammatory activity...

I used to use it for colds and sore throat infections, plus it heals cuts and wounds so fast, you
would not believe it.

This type of honey, for me, is strictly medicinal. I would not use it to sweeten beverages and whatnot,
there are cheaper honeys to do that with.

Thank you for your replies, gentlemen.  I shall have to do some research. Smile

Given the price premium that this honey goes for I would expect that it would be rife with counterfeits  - are there any known scams out there?

That’s a great question Marko and Yes plenty of Counterfeits I won’t mention names here but I only stick to one Brand Comvita I buy it at Costco and know it’s Certified and sealed package.

I do have to say it truly works and it’s used strictly medicinal higher UMF the more potent it is.

This is the definitive list of the genuine brands....I would only buy direct from any of them.
I've tried both Summer Glow and Mossops...they are the real deal.
