Been keeping an eye on this thread for a while, and have tallied up the choices so far.
Now, the original direction given was:
“If you could only choose one, what would it be?” I completely understand that it is difficult to pick just one brand, but that was the question. There were 19 forum members who did not pick just single soap brand — they would mention one U.S. soap and one European, or a commercial soap and an artisan, or several of their favorites, etc. I did not count
any of these, since there was no clear single choice.
However, I
did count the ones who had runners up, since they did designate a clear “number one” in addition to their honorable mentions.
One member made one choice and then changed it to another later, so I dropped the original choice and added the new one. My own vote goes to Stirling Soap Company at this point, as they have a great selection of soaps, and every one that I’ve tried has worked marvelously for me.
I’ll try to keep track of these from here on out, and if there is a lot of activity on the thread, I’ll post a revised list after a while. I hope that’s OK,
TSEvangelist.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
