yep. Stirling puts out a nice brush...I personally prefer a bigger handle myself and a slightly larger loft on my synthetics.

Awesome, sounds like I will like it. You should try the Plissoft barber too, the handle is pretty long, perfect for bowl lathering.

The Stirling Kong is my favorite brush. That thing is a lathering beast!

The RazoRock Plissoft brushes are not scratchy at all. Have you ever used one? While I don't have a Plisson to compare it to, I can't see spending 3-5x as much for basically the same brush. Plus, by all accounts I've read the Plisson is floppier. I'd rather have more backbone, but that's just personal preference I guess.

I bought a Plissoft disruptor (22mm) last month. Not sure whether I am unlucky with my brush or something, but mine is a bit scratchy, and this version (disruptor) of Plissoft doesn't look like like a good brush for face lathering.

I haven't used that brush but I have 4 Plisson type knots and had a Plisson as well. None of them are scratchy at all, and all are excellent for face lathering. Are you perhaps thinking it's not good for face lathering due to a lack of backbone? Plisson type knots with higher lofts tend to splay very easily, some more than others due to density and loft height, but they are excellent face latherers. It's just a different feel compared to a brush with a lot of backbone. Give it a try and see how it works. The loft on it according to IB is 57mm, which is about what the Plisson is from what I recall. I believe the Plisson was 22mm knot with 56 or 57mm loft, which is the same as the Disruptor. The Disruptor may have more density, but it should still splay very well I would think.
