WOW..... mine arrived today and I must say the finish on this thing is First rate. Hard to compare polished premium vs matte premium but the looks of this razor, the quality of shave, and the price point, unbeatable (I suspect the price point will go higher, it’s underpriced) I have the D plate and it produced a BBS and smooth shave out of the gate.

Considering this is one man making these and it’s new to market, the rave reviews are justified..... this razor is legit. Further, sitting next to my Timeless and Wolfman and Charcoal, it’s half the price. Granted, there is only one offering and one handle etc..... that said, WOW.... for 100.00 it’s the best steal in wet shaving.....

I bought a Karve with a D plate in December. I love the handle. But I can't get a really close shave. I look forward to buying the F plate to see if that solves the problem.

I had a wolfman (BEE-U-TEE-FUL finish wise) and sold it. I would love to see some side by side pics though.

Maybe try a shim until then?

I just got my Karve this past Thursday. 3" handle with D plate. Only two shaves in so far, but I'm hoping this is going to replace my ATT H2 and Rockwell 6S. More testing is needed.

I can't say enough good things about the workmanship. The handle IMO is absolutely brilliant. So smooth to the touch, yet no slip, and looks gorgeous. I'm buying one for my wife before the price goes up. Crazy good deal.

I prefer the Karve D to my Wolfman 74. The shave is smoother. The threading is extremely well machined and the R&D and final blueprint outshines Wolfman’s conventionally designed head imo. Like JWK1 above the handle is beyond great.

The D plate is a wonderful 24 hour/daily shaver. The addition of the F plate will only enhance those days with stronger bristle growth.

I have both and my preference is the karve, the Woman Is shinier though.

Why does someone need more gap than the .98mm that the D provides??? That's seriously a lot of gap. It would a Rockwell 8 plate. All gap does is increase available angles.
