Thou makest me think.... Perhaps I don’t really like the patina on my Karve after all. That is beautiful.

But it will eventually patina, which will require polishing ... and I am assuming any subsequent light polishing by an amateur will result in a polished surface that is less shiny and beautiful as the current high polish. Is that right?

Your right it will patina it’s brass so that’s a given fact.

Now when it’s polished it’s easier to bring shine back to the surface with actually one tab of polishing paste wipe it off and shine is back.

This works in my case everyone have their own thing and best methods.

I’ll make a video eventually and show exactly how it’s done.
