Actually disappointing because there was no backbone and no scrub which is really, really strange for a Chubby. I believe Simpson has set the loft of new Manchurians higher and is using a softer Manchurian hair. It is just a soft pillow cloud. I wanted and was expecting a lot of backbone and scrub as I fact lather. The loft needs to be set much lower on the new Manchurians because of the extremely soft hair.
A sublime wet shave is one of life's little joys! Happy Shaving!!

Are you planning to keep it?

That brush shouldn't be doing that. Are you adding water during your second pass?

Nope, I do not add water during the second pass. I use the 'Marco Method' for lathering and do not squeeze out the water from the brush after soaking, just letting the excess water drain off.

Beautiful! I’ve been window shopping for a Simpson for quite some time...
