Mines always been tan and very weak scent. But most the pictures I see it's white. I got it a year ago. Did they change formula or was mine old stock when I got it and changed color and scent weaken? It performs decently but cause the scent is weak (but good smell) I don't use it hardly ever. I just assumed it was tan colored soap. There's a few non white artisan soaps.
Are you talking about the "original" (i.e. black labeled) one? I have it and it's pretty well swirled with white and off-white. Its not as strong as others I have but still recognizable.
I was going to ask Will if he was still making it because I haven't seen it in stock for a while and haven't seen other retailers with it in stock too often. Certainly not like other Latha versions.

Sadly I don't think the Original is being made anymore. It is my favorite scent of the Latha line. Apparently it was another one of those "polarizing" Barrister_N_Mann scents.

It has indeed been discontinued, yes. And Original is a sort of off-white color, though I wouldn't quite call it tan.

The old ( for computer history) reminder different computer screens show color in different ways applies. As an aside; IVORY soap was first sold in a pumice grey. Advertisers decided pure white equated with cleanliness and they changed the formulation. My gifted B&M soaps passed on to vets were all excellent products regardless of race, creed or colour.
I got a jar of the Latha Original a few weeks ago, and haven’t used it yet. But I did just open the jar a couple of days ago, and the color of my soap is an off-white. The scent just from the jar is medium strong and very pleasing. Even though I’ve never used this Original version of Latha, I’m already sad that it’s not being produced anymore.

I have latha limon and latha oceana and they're both a tannish/off-white color.

It's the Sandal wood one. It's tan. Definitely not white or off white. I mean reality is it could been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long before I got it. I've steered clear of b&m soaps cause of it has a very very weak scent that becomes non existent after the lid is off for over 30 seconds. I prefer strong scents. Preform just as good as others but without scent to set it apart it's meh.

That's weird. Latha Sandalwood has been called many things, but "weakly scented" has never been one of them. Where did you get it?
