I have been looking for a cheap cream in lemon or lime. Was going to buy some KMF in keylime but there seems to be a national shortage these days. Lol.

I finally found some sparse but fairly positive reviews for Godrej lemon and Derby lemon. They are definitely in my 5-6$ ballpark.

Anyone have experience with these? Specifically, anyone try both and have a preference?

I want something that holds a rich foam well and is very slick.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I got TOBS lemon and lime in a trade and couldn't be happier with the performance.

You could try JM Fraser. It's an inoffensive lemon smell, and the price is right.

Thanks. I'll keep those in mind. Was hoping for something in the under $10 range. Both of those are around $16. Still, not far off.

I ended up ordering the Godrej. It has a few good reviews here... and I balk at Derby who's blade don't just disappoint, they mutilate.

Coates Cream Lime. Slick as any and scent is a sweetish Lime. Dollar an ounce.

I have tried both the Godrej Lemon and Lime. Their scents are nearly indistinguishable from each other. It is a pleasant citrus soapy scent which is serviceable. What makes this cream in a tube (around $5 to $6) worth every penny: Performance. It lathers up well and is slick. It's performance is 90% of Art of Shaving Lemon or TOBS Lemon-Lime, at a fraction of the price. Is it as good as those, or more premium creams? No... For the price point, it is a great product and I like it a lot. It is in my rotation, and I have several tubes in my den.

I totally forgot about Razorocks triple milled puck "What the Puck". Superb performance in both cushion and glide. Lime is sublime in scent. And Italian Barber has it on sale three pucks for $9 bucks. These are full sized pucks representing an excellent value proposition.

I saw this last night in another post. Have you bought any. Are they still in good working condition after 11+ years? This seems likr an awesome deal, if so!

Thanks.

For an inexpensive creame: Start and stop with Coate's.
Just find what scent(s) you like and buy a bunch.
