My name has come up in the list after putting it back on August 20. Email sent to put off until a TI model is able to be tooled up. I’ll let you guys know the outcome on this one. I don’t need another SS so this will be a waiting game for as long as it takes so long as they accept my request.

Wish it were as simple as that.

Indeed ! I was thinking this very morning ... Blackbird Ti is sold out, Wolfman Ti is unavailable for some time now, with no relief in sight. Yet ... Timeless consistently has Ti available. I don't know what they're doing, but they're doing it right.

I take solace in the fact that I'm on the list for the Karve Ti ... as soon as the drop comes about  ....  Tongue

With a 7 month wait list for SS, not sure what the impetus to move to Ti would be, but maybe if the SS waitlist is reduced to a shorter number he would go there?

Agreed but it would be awesome if every time a batch of XX people postponed for Ti he would do a run. I did get an email back for postponement of my order but she isn’t keeping a tally/list for people wanting/waiting for titanium. That said I never really considered ALI post but from a business standpoint it doesn’t make sense at all to make them in Ti.

It's no secret that the Wolfman waitlist is long, as a local shaver that's bought many products from Wolfman I pick them up in person and have gotten to know James fairly well, when I picked up my most recent SS razor about a month ago in conversation with James, he sympathizes with the struggle, two factors are at play the waitlist seems to be never ending and despite picking up the pace and improving the flow of production people keep jumping on the waitlist, he has an interest to get back in to more "custom" items but he won't be doing that until the SS demand is met. So he is hoping to get more time for R&D and things like Ti down the road but when is unclear because the waitlist is a never ending beast.

Thanks for the info ! Nineteenth century American essayist Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door." Seems like James's success is evidence that the adage is still as true now as it was then.

That....plus he is not your average business owner....he will not do anything unless he really wants to.

Back when he didn't have the open-ended waitlist, and we were all at the mercy of catching drops, or a little
bit of charity from JD, I am convinced there was an art to phrasing your emails to him.

Anything that even smacked remotely of entitlement, (such as providing your razor specs in advance), was
almost guaranteed no response. And the more you emailed, the deeper the hole you dug for yourself.

Persistence was rarely rewarded.

He had to be 'ready' to 'accept' your order, not receive or take it.

Of course, some will say that's bollocks and fair enough...this is my reading, and I'm glad
I don't need to do it any longer. Phew!
