I'm looking for someone who re-plates razors.  As close to Seattle as possible.  Not Razor Emporium.  Any suggestions.

I can recommend you both RazorPlate and BackRoadsGold.
None of them are close to Seattle, but they both have excellent services.

RazorPlate gives very detail updates about his service, and you can pay after service completed.
I sent three razors to RazorPlate, all re-plated perfectly. Chris from RazorPlate is very polite gentleman.
BackRoadsGold is very good, too, Chris from BackRoadsGold is pretty fast (his service only takes 2-3 days) and his prices are lower than others.
I sent three razors to him, too, everything was perfect.

Thank you for your input.  Because of you all, I have found a good replating service.
I will be sending them a razor on Monday, and will be closing this thread later today.

No way. Keep the thread open and take us on the rest of the ride. What did you send in?

Okay.  I'll leave it open, but only if I can unsubscribe from it.  I don't want to be copied to every future posting on this thread.
This is the razor I'm sending in on Monday.  It's a Gratiot Krekt-Shave.  I'm not going to mention who I sent it to, until I get it back.

I’ll second the Razorplate recommendation. I’ve had several razors redone all done to the highest quality for a reasonable price. If it’s inadvisable or otherwise not possible he’ll tell you up front. Some things can’t be done at any price.
