My best performing soap among the 350-400 I have owned. Own a backup, after that it's gone from my den (5-10 years from now probably)

I have a terracotta bowl in rotation, and a couple of backup refills. I think I'm set for a while, but It's sad to see it go. Sad

Of course you will get people who will argue this but Maybe and Maybe. It's a light menthol. I thought it smelled fruity, average - not bad - not great. Lathering was simple. Slickness, residual slickness, and cushion maybe bit higher than average. Its also ridiculously priced in the container. Getting just the refill save 50% of the price. I rated it average - 4th tier stuff. There is simply far too much stuff out there that, IMO, smelled better, lathered as easily, and was technically superior.

I originally purchased it about 2 years ago interra-cotta bowl and then I purchased a refill. It is a great performing soap.

Sorry to see it go. It's been one of my favorites for years. I've got an unopened refill, but that's it!

This soap has caught my eye occasionally for some two, three years now... Kind of sad I never jumped on it.

Where is the proof that iColoniali is not longer producing their shaving soaps? I can't find it anywhere. I see claims dating back several months but nothing else. Connaught discontinued it but it's still available and in stock at at least 5 other stores I checked.

I plan to try this soap regardless, but would like to know if I need to rush and buy it or not. Maybe Connaught Shaving will read this thread and chime in.

Read some of these. In addition Phil at Bzullgoose who is always reliable indicated it is being discounted

Thanks. I read most of those threads in your link, including Phil's. I just emailed Gifts & Care to see what they have to say. They always reply back within a day.

I've never tried it myself. I might have to pick up a puck or two, if I can find it.

Hobbyist, if you want to go in on some, send me a PM!
