I agree with the video and pretty much do that plus. Since I'm retired and have time to fiddle I also use a can of compressed air (computer key board stuff) to spray down the pipe (so to speak) of my TTO's and also the hinge area's just to remove the water. You'd be supprised how much water shoots out the bottom of the handle. Again since I have time to burn and can afford to be anal in this area, I do it. Did I do this when I was raising kids and going to work. Nope. But a quick cleaning as denoted in the video takes about an addition 90 seconds. Worth the effort in my view.
