I use my trigger finger to scoop up a small dollop from the sample. I smear it into a lacquered soup bowl from Japan. It fits snug in my left hand and I like the warm feel of the wood. I form the lather slowly, adding just a drop or two of water at a time. The scent fills the room as the lather takes shape.

kind of wishing I keep a few of the empty soap tubs I had now...

I avoid samples, but if I was to use one, I would (s)mash it into the bottom of my Fine lather bowl or my Mühle porcelaine mug.

I admit it, I blind buy all my soaps and creams.

Load them from the little 0.5oz sample containers.

Ok, no. Not really. I mash the entire sample into an empty tub.

I scoop enough off of the sample and mash it into the bottom of a shaving bowl usually. I do have some samples mashed into individual plastic containers purchased from the Dollar Tree too. You can get palm sized containers 5 for a 1.00 with lids.

I mash it into an old VdH bowl [same that I typically use to soak brushes]. Off to the races.

But...

I like Noosa yogurt too and sounds like a great repurpose Smile
