I have a medium one and have to say the thing is smooth. It feels so smooth I swear it is empty. First time was with 2+ week growth, and while it took many strokes to cut, it was able to do so. No irritation from having to cut in the same area multiple times. I did it again today with maybe 5 days growth, much more manageable growth and had an easier time taking the stubble down but could have used more efficiency. I need to use this more, especially after a day and a half. Again, the razor was smooth as butter. I noticed around my lips it takes a bit extra effort to cut the hairs due to a different angle, but it is doable. I have to say I wonder how an aggressive would do, and might want to pursue one. I want more time with it, and even if this doesn’t prove to be my “the one” razor, I get the impression this could be like when I moved up from a R89 Grande to a Feather AS-D2. A clear improved difference I was pleased with for years, and still find enjoyable. The Henson seems to do very well ATG. Not as much irritation after, and during shave. Perhaps the clamping of the Henson is in play here. I’ve never really seen blade chatter in play with my razors, can’t say I have any razors I suspect it is an issue in, but something is different in a good way here.

So I've been using the Henson To since December 19... Around a month and a half. Since then, I've cleared all razors from my cabinet, save for the two Henson's (Ti and Al... Both in Medium). This is that good of a razor (for me, at least). It is both smooth and efficient. The quarter turn "feature" allows me an agressive cleanup without having to endure an agressive shave (or switch razors). It's light and looks awesome. So happy I had the chance to jump on this one.

For anyone who is curious, I think Andrew has the pass-around going still for the medium Aluminum. It's going to be 95% the same as Titanium, sans the added weight.

I too have been using my Ti Medium pretty frequently. It’s been a nice option for days after shaving with a more aggressive razor. It’s so gentle but efficient.

I’ve wanted to compare it to the AL, but my buddy doesn’t want to give it back!

Tis' the risk of lending out such an addictive shaving tool, lol!

I find them very close. At first, the shave on the Ti, for me, was a hair more efficient. It's also a bit more agressive feeling. This was because of the added weight. Now that I've gotten used to the weight, I'd say they feel almost exactly the same. Still slightly better on efficiency, but the shave feels so close between the two (now).

Just curious if anyone has used different (Ti) handles with this Ti head? The handle of this razor is the only reason I didn't order. I have a TiBam Ti handle on the way, and LMAO, no razor with which to use it (since I had to send my H&SCo hard coat AL base plate back for a return due to wear). I'd rather get something that is gonna last, and since SS DE razors are boring me to tears these days, been looking at Ti stuff.

The threads seem to be standard. I’ve used tried other handles on it before.

If it's the length, I'm with you... I'm a short handle user and complained about it on the Aluminum for some time. In the end, I had to eat crow and tell them. I got used to the longer and even felt like it had some purpose. Other than it being unweildy for my medicine cabinet, it's a good handle.

So, if you try a tibam on it and end up going back to the stock handle, you heard it here first. Lol.

I’ve had my Henson Ti for weeks.  I just can’t get an efficient shave with it.
I’ve tried Astra SP, Treet and Kai blades in the Ti.  Nothing seems to work.
If most are getting good shaves, it must be me...I’ll try again.
I had an Aluminum Henson also, but gave it to my father.  He loves it!

Which one do you have? I have the Aggressive and it is great but has a bit of drag to it during shaves. It’s very efficient though.

It boggles the mind that Henson has found way to ship stuff safely to international
addresses for $9.95 but the likes of H&S charge $60.

No overseas buyer needs his razor that quickly.
