Sometimes I wonder just how changed the area is in 4 decades, but I'm not curious enough to return to find out. I know that I'd never recognize it. In the 3 years I was away from Ramsey in the early '70s the area had totally changed and I understood what was meant by the lyrics I had heard in a Moody Blues song, "...you can never go home..." then I understood. I realized that NJ was no longer my home and I began looking for where we ultimately wound up and have been for the past 40 years.
