Hello to all of you,

I am from Hamburg, Germany (also registered on nassrasur.com and gut-rasiert.de).
Most of my life I was using electric razors, but today I definitely prefer the smoothness of wet-shaving. I use DE safety razors. (CC! I never tried OC)

I've been wet-shaving for over a year now. Unfortunately the head of my current DE CC Razor broke when it slipped & fell down onto the floor. So right now I use a Wilkinson Classic plastic DE Safety razor Big Grin

Greetings, everraser

Welcome to DFS, everraser!

That's too bad about your DE falling and breaking. Have you looked on eBay to try a vintage Gillette? I have quite a vintage razors, as well as modern, but I find myself going back to the vintage razors.

Welcome to DFS, everraser, and enjoy your stay.

As Rob (Blade4vor) mentions, good vintage razors can be had quite reasonably on eBay.  Also, there are some new razors being sold from inexpensive to pricy so there really is a wide selection out there.
Good luck with the search. Happy2

I like the Gillette aristocrat 1946/47... very nice finish.
I looked @ german ebay, but the prices are insane ^^
They want minimum 70€ for a vintage gillette, with prices reaching > 100€ Confused
