I have one on order. Should have it by end of next week. New head listed as aggressive gap .83 positive exposure. Since everyone raves about the efficiency of the .076 I thought this razor might go a step further. I will make my own judgement. Full grade 5 titanium.

Ah, I knew this was in the pipeline but didn’t realise it was available to order yet. Thanks for posting. It’s definitely a razor I’ve been waiting for - I love the P076 and if it was a hair more efficient it would be pretty much perfect for me. I found titanium to be an excellent material for the P076 as the lightness suited the slim profile and nimbleness of the razor design. My only initial reservations with the P083 are that I liked the longer version of this handle, and the photos show some visible machining marks on parts of the razor that probably look better polished - like the flared bottom part of the handle.

But I’m probably just looking for excuses to delay purchasing it slightly until my wife has calmed down from some recent orders I made.

He offers a choice of handles. 80mm or 95mm. I chose the 80mm in machined finish. But light polished is also available.

I am very interested to see some reviews on the 083. I do like my 076 and would like to learn how much more aggressive this new razor is. Especally looking for opinions on post shave feeling as some more aggressive razors cause irritation on my neck.

Thnaks.

I think the .083 was just released for sale with a shipping time next week. I will post my results asap.

Ok, I’ve ordered one. In communication with Aji the 95mm handle is the fully-knurled one, so I opted for the 80mm shaped handle, which I much prefer. I also chose the light polishing.

Judging from the pictures the Ti 083 preserves everything I loved about the P076, while adding more efficiency. I am curious to see whether the blade exposure is the same or greater (the amount of blade feel on the P076 was absolutely perfect for me). But I didn’t want to take more of Aji’s time on a question that isn’t going to affect my decision to buy.

Aji said he will ship it end of next week but it will take a while to travel and clear customs here, so don’t hold your breath waiting for my review. Usually it takes a month or two to navigate the residual soviet bureacracy that we have here in Poland.

A pass around sounds great, it should be a good one.
