Marcos: i would compare it to a 0,71 wolfman efficiency with 0,61 smoothness on SB. This is an incredible razor. Have really been fortunate to review this. Makes it so easy to pen comments when not having to be polite, just frank

DanLaw - thank you for your detailed review, I enjoyed both the review and the high quality photographs.

I just got the package from DanLaw with both H&S SS OC and SB razors and I'm doing a Shave Off using both in my Shave Off Showdown thread in case anyone is interested. I have to say the fit and finish is up their with the very best modern razors I've had in my den. I can't wait to try them in today's Shave Off and compare the two as far as efficiency and smoothness.

Thanks Dan!

Apologies for the inconvenience to those awaiting but the delay is reasonably caused by forces outside peoples’ control.

The good news is that Aji is having a second prototype set produced for this passaround that will cut wait times in half!

IMPORTANT!!!!!

The first 20 H&S P076 SB razors are coming to market Monday. They will cost $300 - SERIOUSLY - $300! If you got the dosh and want in first, this your opportunity. Seldom has $300 bought so much, this or any economy. Were this any other manufacturer, can promise would be $400+

Additionally, Aji is making a second set of P076 razors available for the passaround to speed things up for the 50 trialers awaiting their turn

Would certainly like to see more reviews before considering this razor. Dan seems to have a vested interest, so I’m not sure how to take his reviews. I don’t mean that as a criticism, but simply as an observation.

You really should have the courtesy to ask (even publicly) what my interest is in the Haircut & Shave business prior to throwing implications regarding integrity - passive aggressiveness is a woman's game....

Let me state forthrightly, in as plain a language as possible, my interest in this or any passaround conducted to date:

Zero, zilch and nada.  I have no financial interest whatsoever in the success of any product ever participated in as trialer nor organizer.  Allow me to share the benefit gained:

For the trouble of conducting these passaounds, am privileged to go hat in hand soliciting manufacturers cold to provide a sample of their product for public usage and critique (overwhelmingly most are great people even if they can not afford to participate or opt out BUT at least one is the most loathsome human being encountered in decades, whose interaction makes life significantly the worse for having encountered him), get to make an announcement soliciting users, accumulate dozens of responses, sort them by order of response, collect personal info for each, construct a database, alert guys when their slot is available (and make amendments if they unavailable at their appointed time), verify and communicate the addresses, chase guys down when they lollygagging to move the items, chase guys down to post the actual review they promised (many times having to post to the alternative fora they promised to post in) and deal with people irate that they have to await their turns (even if it due to reasonable emergencies along the way).

In the end, many of the companies alow me to raffle off or sell the products providing they go to canine rescue.

Clearly, I am a dishonest shill taking advantage of others for personal benefit; sincerely thank you for pointing that out.  The plan is so clever and devious that I expend effort to get the product into the hands of potential victims so they can trial it free of charge before using Svengali powers to convince them to purchase the product.  You sir, are a genius to have worked that out unlike everybody else operating under the presumption this being done as a service to the community (including me as get to try these products too).

Again, I did not intend to criticize, nor waste your time in crafty such a lengthy response. I was simply stating I would like to see more opinions as you feeling strongly about Aji’s razors.

I have bought razors in the past based on the gospel of others, only to be disappointed. As always in this hobby, YMMV.

Again, I did not mean to discount all that you do to organize these. Perhaps all this was not clear in my original post and I want to rectify that.

And as for passive-aggressiveness being a woman’s game, there must be a great number of women on here!
