Is there any kind of coating on it to prevent it from oxidizing and turning brown?

I doubt it but I always use the Cape Cod polishing cloths to polish any of my copper, bronze or brass razors and brush handles.

Shaved with mine yesterday morning and forgot to post. Went to see Tenet in a Dolby Cinema and got completely distracted! This razor is wonderful and has some small differences in feel from the titanium version that I have. The OC side is slightly less smooth on the copper version and I think that is probably because of the weight of the copper versus titanium. Still very smooth though and the efficiency coming from Aji’s P076 design is absolutely amazing. I swapped out the handle for something a bit longer. Aji made the copper handle shorter because he thought the weight would be too much with the 97mm handle from the other metal options. I have requested a handle from him in the standard length when he can make one and I will swap out this one. The handle I used is a solid copper copy of a Wolfman WRH7 handle that is being made by Home Like Shaving. Anyway, my IG post is below.

[Image: HMWk8aL.jpg][Image: 9mJY1Kv.jpg][Image: 3ulrLee.jpg]Received my DC Copper PO76 today and had my first shave.
Pre Shave Hot Shower & ETHOS First Lather
Soap and AS ETHOS Succes
Blade  Gillette 7’Oclock Black
Brush Graydog Mixed knot
First pass WTG. I used the OC side. Very smooth but definitely had some blade feel. Rinse and the majority of my beard is gone.
2nd Pass WTG/ATG I used the SB side and had an excellent smooth pass
Results. 2 pass BBS that was very enjoyable. The razor has a little more heft to it compared to the Ti but I really like the shorter handle. Very well balanced. This razor is absolutely beautiful in person if you enjoy copper, and shaved like a dream. The only people I would not recommend it to is someone who does not like some blade feel. Aji has created another beautiful razor that shaves better than its pretty looks. Bravo Aji

Some up for sale, but the price is $600 now. They sure are stunning, especially that handle in copper.

Looks like most of the prices have been raised along with a website update. I guess you get what you pay for, Aji's products have always been stellar quality for the price.

Absolutely! The man deserves to be paid for the work he puts in. And people will pay.

Honestly, it's a nice razor but NOT my best razor at all as some tout it to be. If it is for you great but I dislike people that make claims (NOT saying in this thread) it's the best ever....................that's for them and is subjective.
