Have you ever tried PannaCrema Nuavia soaps, Mystic Water Sensitive Skin, Wholly Kaw Vegan or even MdC?
These have no lanolin and the first three are excellent soaps with 'teeth', in my opinion. Shy

Thank you for your suggestions. I have Mystic Waters Sensitive Skin Shave stick, it is one of the best I've ever tried, it takes longer than others to produce a thick protective lather but worth the efforts. Pannacrema Nuavia does not have an unscented version but I've heard highly of H2 and its light refreshing scent. I have yet to try Wholly Kaw vegan, I once tried their Donkey Milk soap and the lather literally melts the facial hair! Too bad it has lanolin and the reviews tend to suggest that the vegan version, while a solid performer, is not a match for Donkey Milk. MdC is a bit on the expensive side, I don't mind paying an upfront cost for it but I'm not sure if it would work as well as super-oiled artisan soaps. So the quest for GD continues!

If you are only able to use unscented soaps that don't contain lanolin, then your options are quite limited, especially, if you desire the rich and creamy lather produced by good tallow-based soaps. I would suggest being patient with Mystic Water Sensitive Skin as you seem to really like it,  it works for you and shaving doesn't have to be rushed. Shy

Personally, I could easily use this soap for the rest of my life as I find Michelle's soaps to be superb. Thankfully, I don't have any sensitivities and I am able to use many of her scents.
Best of luck to you.

Janus tallow is a decedent of the Lusso base. Each has it's own characteristics. This base won't be available till August/September. I'm already on V18, and there will few more iterations Smile

Few of Janus's traits are folded back into the Primus bases which will be available again in the near future.

It appears that the Janus base won't be available until August/September but the Primus was to be available sooner?

Patiently waiting!

There is a new product on his page "Tao". Not for purchase yet. Does anyone know if this is the new Janus base?
